This speaks to me, on really deep emotional level. Not just because I can identify with it, but because I can see the same struggle with my mother, my father, my sisters, my friends. It’s so hard and frustrating when you want to express yourself and the words just don’t come out, and you just stand there angry and loathing yourself, because you can’t place the right word. But I think what people forget most of the times is that the mere fact that we try to understand and that we aim to use another language is amazing and honestly it takes a lot of strength. To get up and look yourself in the eye and say ¨I can do this, I will do this, and no one can stop me.¨ So if you ever come across someone who is struggling with a language, whether they don’t get the proverb right, or the verb tense, or have an accent, remember that they have worked their ass off in order to communicate with another group of people, they tried to do something for themselves, so respect that and never make them feel inferior.
